Housewife Orders Dog to Bite Maid

A Singaporen housewife was convicted of ordering her dog to attack her Indonesian maid during a fit of rage, news report said on Saturday.

Tay Siew Hoon was found guilty after a 25-day-long trial in which the prosecutor described a night of abuse imposed on the 22-year-old maid nearly three years ago. The woman ordered her Shih-tzu to attack after quarrelling with her husband earlier, the court hear. She is the first Singaporean to be found guilty of ordering an animal to attack maid. The maid testified that the dog, name Yuki, latched onto her thigh and scrtched with his paw, The Starits Times said. She cried in pain and tried to push the dog away, but tay, 53, turned up the volume on the television set to drwn out her sreams.
